I have a 619 Ranger fs with HDS 12 live at bow and console. Thinking about getting Active Target since it is compatible with my units but don't know how I could run transducer cable up trolling motor shaft since it is an Ulterra. Since it retracts all the way up to the motor I don't even know if the transducer could be mounted on it. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Take a look at some of the live scope mounts that are out there. I assume you would have to use something along those lines.

It comes with appropriate mounts for both kinds of trolling motors.

Not for an Ulterra unless something new just came out

Its an ugly install with extra cords hanging around but it works. However does not work if you fish weeds as the cable/mount becomes choked with weeds. The video is actually on an Ulterra.
