St. Croix Mojo 7’ 1” Med Hvy Fast Casting Rod or??

Featured Replies

I was all set to buy from TW a St. Croix Mojo 7’ 1” Med Hvy Fast Casting Rod but now they are back ordered till May 7 and I’m impatient. I’ve got TW gift cards burning a hole in my pocket.
What’s the next rod up you would get with spending no more than $200.
I’m not sure what it will be used for yet. All I know is I don’t have a med hvy rod.

I just got the 7’1” MH/XF Tatula with full cork handle. Not the Elite.

So far so good

I have this rod and would also recommend it.

I would also consider the St Croix Victory. I hear the build quality is a new high build quality and overall very good things about it so far.

Me too

Really interested in hearing how they would compare to our Tatula.

Hopefully someone has one to do a side by side comparison

I played a video from PunchFishing on Youtube earlier where he compared a Victory spinning rod to a Tatula spinning rod and said they were very similar overall.

St croix premier split grip casting rods are on clearance at bass pro and cabelas. I just got a 7' MHF for $149.97. Then I had a coupon from the trade in!

I will be passing on the new victory rods.

Lol, as soon as read the OP the Taty was the first rod that came to mind while simultaneously seeing your post.

I kno BPS is overpriced but 150 for a premier is high.
