Anyone else using a 6wt fly rod ?‍♂️

Featured Replies

I just ordered a 9’5” 6wt from custom fly rod designer/builder CF Burkheimer

My name will be inscribed on the blank

I told my kids I would like to keep it in the family as an heirloom
getting sentimental  in my old age I suppose ?

sorry I'm late - my niche fly rods for hill country limestone creeks are venerable glass, mostly Phillipsons from the early 70s, and all 7' or 6'6" - most are rated 6-wt, but glass tends to fish well with a range of line weights.

You have a pretty new rod, thanks for showing it.
