my brother just bought a 1988 era 115 Mercury to strap on an old mark twain ski boat. anyone know the proper fuel/oil mixture? there is an "oil injected" sticker on the side but theres no oil injector on this motor.

    The oil injector for that motor was a tank and pump unit that sat inside the boat.  As the motor was pulling fuel from the fuel tank, it went through the oil injector to be mixed and then on to the motor.   He is much better off without it, reliabililty for that system, that old, is not that great.

    You fuel/oil mix ratio is 50:1.
