What is the better option for the 2D sonar? I have a Lowrance 2D transducer that is trolling motor mounted. My new Ultrex has the built in 2D transducer. Does anyone know which one is better to use, and maybe why that is? If they are similar or the ultrex is better than I can remove the transducer from Lowrance.

    Probably not much difference in readout.

    The best part of a built in transducer, is you don't break it when running into things.

    Before my built in transducer, I used to break at least one a year.
