1. I am a boat caretaker for a person with a 2019 Nitro Z-19. It came stock with a lowrance hook2-5inch, I don't remember if it was a split shot or a triple shot. Maybe someone else with the same boat could tell me what came with the boat.

2. He bought humminbird helix 9's for his boat and offered to give me his Lowrance hook2- 5 inch that came on the Nitro. I am not fishing smart and was planning on putting it on my 14 foot bass fishing boat. My boat has a transducer on it but it was for a cheap little humminbird from 1996. Would I have to take off the transducer from his Nitro and put it on mine? I can't take it off if the transducer on the nitro boat will work for his Humminbirds but if not should I take it off and put it on my boat? Thanks for helping I am very lost

Most units and transducers are not really interchangeable.  Some are if they are the same brand.  In this case, an older Humminbird transducer is definitely not going to work with a Lowrance unit.  You will need to take the transducer that goes with the Lowrance and install that on your 14 foot boat in order to use it properly.
