1st boat- Solix/Transducer Options

Featured Replies

Can you select between seeing a transom SI transducer and a Ultrex SI transducer easily from one Solix g3 or can only one be hooked up? I dont need to see them at the same time (or can you?), just wondering if I can select between them and get full use of both from one solix.

If not, what if I had 2 solix, could I see all of the transducers on the boat from either solix (so I can now see transom or ultrex SI from console solix or bow solix) or would I only be able to see say the transom SI from console solix and the ultrex SI from bow solix?

I know you can use a 360 with another transducer like an ultrex mounted one but you lose SI with it, still get sonar and DI. But what if I had one solix hooked up to a transom SI and 360 upfront and lifted the 360 out of the water, would the system recognize this and allow me to see the transom SI or will the transom SI not work as long as those 2 are both plugged in? Thanks all!

and one thing I forgot to ask, would I be able to control the ultrex from either of the 2 solix in the 2 solix option? Ty!

I’m not sure about seeing both at the same time.  It may be a possibility.  I haven’t tried it.  If you have more than one Solix, you can network the via ethernet and see anything that is connected .  To control a trolling motor  from a depth finder you will have to have an Ipilot link trolling motor.
