Dobyns or Phenix spinning rod?

Phenix Bass Recon Elite Spinning medium 7’2”

or:

Dobyns Sierra 702?

the numbers match.  Same specs really.  Cost within a couple of fancy coffee drinks of each other. Shorter handle on the Dobyns which is nice for a PFF wearing kayaker.

mostly drop-shot rodding with the occasional Ned-Rig Hail Mary thrown in.   Both seem like nice sticks.

I’d go Phenix. The two I have are incredible. I have two Feather casting rods I love. The Recon are next on my list.

Leaning that way. Even the bait holder hook is placed in a well thought out location.  Allows me to stuff it in a rod holder and my bait stays above the tube.
Thx

Phenix for me, if I could only have one brand of rod it would be Phenix.

Thanks you all. I do love my Phenix Maxim.   It’s the reason Phenix is the front runner.
‘The sucky thing.  It’s completely sold out. Boo!
