I'm in the market for a new 3/8-1/2oz  jig rod, my breaking point on price is around $250. Any suggestions are welcome

I bought one of these also a little while back. It surprised me on how light and balanced it is.

That leaves a good amount to put toward a reel. Unless, of course, the ceiling for reel price is $250.
