Lowrance Elite FS9 Side Imaging Help

Featured Replies

I have been struggling to really figure out the side imaging on this unit and was hoping maybe someone could give me a good idea of what a weedline should look like on them and a general setting that seems to work for you? May have to adjust transducer angle. So far the side imaging has been completely useless for me. Thanks in advance.

What speed are you trying to use it at @derxan?  I don't have that particular model but my side scanning works best when I go about 5 mph.  Too slow and the images don't refresh very well.  The manual for my unit said 5 mph was the ideal speed to use it.

Generally just over idle or about 3mph, I will try going a little faster next time and see what happens!
