Minn Kota PowerDrive Help!!

Featured Replies

Finally got a chance to take the boat I recently purchased out for a real day of bass fishing since it came back from getting some motor work done. Motor ran great, but I was having some issues with my trolling motor. It’s a 24V MK PowerDrive. I believe it’s a 2016 or 2017 model. Hoping someone might have some experience with the problem I’m having. Any time I had the power setting over 5 (halfway), the motor will not go into constant mode, and if I push the pedal to engage the motor, I can feel the prop try to start spinning but then it never engages. I did not remember to bring the remote control with me. I’ll have to use it next time I go out and see if that makes a difference. Just looking to see if anyone has any ideas as to what the problem is. Thanks in advance everyone!

I have and my friend also has pd 55 12 volt sometimes the speed adjustment stops responding this happened on his boat but I havent experienced it yet on mine I’m not a big fan of the foot pedal but I worked the dial back and forth few good times with my finger and it starting working again like it should I’m not sure if it’s the same problem you have but guess you can try that might help
