Can anyone hear tell me the differences between the two? Are there any major drawbacks to an external puck? This will be my first GPS unit and am getting overwhelmed with all the possibilities. These two I have found for what I think are good prices.

    Looks like a bigger screen, more waypoints and can run Navionics Premium.  If it was me, I would spend the cash on a 798c SI or 898c SI instead.  I have a 798c SI and Side Imaging is THE BOMB!
