if i buy an EAGLE ® FishElite 642C iGPS Fishfinder/GPS Chartplotter. when i mark spots on the sd card. can i use that same sd in a lowrance hds-8 and it show the spots i had marked?

I'm thinking it should. But be sure you are saving them to the card. When you mark them you are putting them into the memory of the head unit. You will have to save them to the card then load them to the other unit.
