Converting boat cooler into livewell???

In my ranger i have 1 livewell and 1 cooler in the back of my boat. I was wonering if there were kits i could buy to convert the cooler into a livewell to give me a 2nd livewell?

Yes, there are kits. Go to Cabelas on line and type in "livewell" and you will find the kits. Price is around $40-50

I'm going to convert a 100 quart cooler myself since my Jon doesnt have any livewell at all. Everything will be inside the cooler except the two wires and I will notch a spot so the lid doesnt pinch them and either put a gromet in there or some silicone caulk for protection.

Check Wal-Mart,I picked up pretty much the same setup there a few years ago.It does a nice job

Talked with a local marina today and they said no problem. Its apparently super easy to do and very cheap also. I'm very happy. This will give me more livewell room. I'll post pics when its done.
