I'm thinking of trying to hit Lake Chautauqua the last week of September or first week of October for bass. It's a place I've never been to.  Can anyone offer some insight on areas to target or stay away from.

I know im a bit late for this post, but its fishing in general is very tough in the month of September and the first couple weeks of October. 

Thanks I stuck to the south end and went up that river and got a good frog bite. I tried the north end with no luck.
