You’d go with the 7’1 over the 7’6? Any reason why? I only ever run 1 spinning rod, so I’m not sure if the 7’6 is more versatile.

I thought you had mentioned a 7-6 being too long. I own both and the newer AGS in 7-6 is a little more powerful than the previous but is very versatile. I know its not mentioned as much as the unicorn but the ML 7 ft model is awesome as well and very sensitive.

Of the two which do you think handles DS and Neds better? I’d think the 7’1 but I could be wrong. I’ve not fished either of them.

The one positive with the 7’6 is I can throw small swim baits on it and free up my medium bait caster for more topwater and reaction baits.

I just happen to have bought a new drop shot and ned rig rod a week ago. The P5 baby plugging. Its does neds well but can't speak much I've only gotten to use it once.

I do have a windbuster and that is way too heavy of a rod for neds and drop shots. It's a much better tube rod, neds are a pain on it.
