No skunk!  I fished from 6:30 to 11:00. 
 

raining pretty hard this morning and cold.  Lake is 7’ deeper easily.  Fish are scattered as far as I can tell.   I caught one bass, fist pumped the sky jubilantly and headed home. Haha.  One and done. 
 

This is going to be a tough winter. I can tell :)

    Been there.  I've smiled all the way home that I caught a 10" bass and got the skunk out of the boat.
