OK am i supposed to beable to turn my prop by hand wen the motor is not on?if so how freely should it move?should it turn well I'm trying to crank it over?

Your prop should move freely, when in neutral. You sure it's in neutral?

yes its in neutral and i can turn it freely,i just was not sure if it should but it does not turn wen I'm cranking the motor

Then your good, your prop should not spin when starting the motor.

Caution-Keep clear of the prop when cranking the motor or anytime the motor is running. Better safe than sorry..............Al
