On-Line Lures...best deals?

Featured Replies

I'm always searching for deals on lures. ( I'm sure all of you too)  E-bay, Amazon, Sporting Goods stores etc.  After adding in tax and shipping it still seems less expensive to just visit a store when it comes to fishing items.  Are there any sites with free shipping that have the best prices too?  I'm thinking not.

Karl's Bait and Tackle has pretty good prices and free shipping, but only IF you become a member — the price is $50 / year.

I think TW is pretty good, as long as you're spending $50 or more, you get the free shipping so ...

For me, I only go on eBay for cranks you can't find anymore, like the Norman DD14 etc.

I basically don’t use anyone but TW these days. Their sale plus the 15-20% discounts can’t be beat. I don’t buy much during the season. Pretty much an off season thing to get what I need and want for upcoming season. Pattern choices are better than most places.  Some of the newer stuff coming will be out after the beginning of the year. A lot of on-line choices but I’m not gonna deal with eBay or Amazon for any of my fishing needs.

Agree with @smallies regarding using the large auction site for obscure lures or lures out of production.  I have had good results with all the major fishing tackle websites, so I just use the one that has the items that I am looking for in stock.  Given the current supply chain issues, availability trumps pricing right now.

Academy has free shipping on orders of $25.00 and more.
