Any Reason I Shouldn't Be Throwing my Cranks on 20lb. Braid to 6lb. Flouro?

if I get snagged I'm usually cutting the line

With a 6# - 12# leader? I don't get your logic at all.

I'm just saying, in the past I've been fishing from the bank, didn't have a boat.  So if I get snagged, much of the time I just have to pull real hard and the line ends up snapping - on 12 lb test that is.

Pulling on the line until it breaks is a lot different than cutting the line. One way you leave many feet of line in the water, the other way you only leave a few inches.

I turn my head away and bend over. Then pull until it breaks or hits me. I do it fins way all the time. With the 60 # test also. Wrap the line around a stick to prevent cut skin.
