Fayetteville, Arkansas

Featured Replies

I'm considering moving away from CA and I am curious about NW Arkansas. How is the Bass fishing around this area for someone with a kayak? I've read that Beaver Lake can be tough. Is Lake Dardanelle good for LMB? I know that Table Rock and Bull Shoals is kind of close. For anyone who has fished the CA Delta, how do these areas compare?

Thanks!!

Beaver is deep and clear, Dardanelle is fantastic with more backwaters than I could fish in my lifetime. Bull Shoals is pretty good too. Don't overlook the moving water in that area though. It's in a great area for river small mouth.

Thank you very much for the information!

Ive not fished all of it but im familiar with the whole area. I have family in Fayetteville and am just across the border in Oklahoma. West of fayetville into oklahoma you have Grand Lake, which is the best of the best in Oklahoma. Also Hudson, Eucha, and Tenkiller arent bad drives. Plus the White River in Arkansas is amazing trout fishing.
