hi i just purchased a canoe and was wondering what i need as far as registration in Pennsylvania in order to fish from this canoe

i have life jackets my buddy thought i might only need a launching permit?

valid PFBC registration or watercraft launch permit to launch or boat on all commission lakes/ waters or access points.

Most creeks or rivers are a free for all. Just watch where you launch & be sure it's not commission owned.

It's all in the regs. that you get with your license.

I would register it, Then you don't need a launch permit and can just be safe about it, And as always have enough life jackets for the people on board, I have an "angler" est that is more comfortable that a normal one so I can wear it all the time when in my friends canoe. You never know
