Expride Spinning Comparison

Featured Replies

Eying the expride medium 7' vs 6'10 medium light and was hoping someone with experience with both could enlighten me on the differences and which presentations each one is better at.

ML: exposed hook (wacky)

M:   Hook point buried in plastic (Texas Rigged Senko)

interested in everyone’s opinion too

6'10" med light - small topwaters, small jerkbaits, blade baits, 1/8 shakey head, drop shot.

7' med - TR senkos, TR's, smaller paddle tail swimbaits.

Both rods are pretty versatile.

My 6’10” ml expride has been a fantastic Ned rig rod for me. My next spinning rod will be the 7’ m for sure.

The ML is a nice drop shot, ned, smaller baits rod. Its also nice that its fast action and not XF. The medium is a nice 'all purpose' spinner. I'd prefer jerkbaits, topwater, grubs for that one. If you want a really fun light power rod check out the 7' light +if you can find one.
