DieHard Battery

Featured Replies

Has anyone used the DieHard Platinum Battery ? They have a big ticket price tag. I was wondering how they rate with the other batteries out there.

Not sure how they rate with other batteries. But I have been using one for starting and the larger one for trolling motor going on the third season and I have had no problems. Yes expensive but I think a little less money then some other brands. The main reason I went with them was the convenience of not having to add water . Opening the compartment and then having to remove the battery box  cover was such a pain. Also installed an on board charger last year so do not even have to hook up cables. Just plug in the ext. cord when I get back from fishing. ;)

I noticed their prices just went through the roof around here and was wondering the same thing. I want to know if it is worth the extra money compared to say the Maxx Marines that seem indestructible.

The Marine Platinum series are AWESOME batteries thus the price.  Basically they are the same thing as Odyssey Batteries just with Die Hard labels.

With a good charger and upkeep you can expect long service life.
