Kayak Camera Mount

Featured Replies

Made this mount using a base off of a tabletop tripod and 1/2" PVC and threaded connectors. It's very stable and fully adjustable.

thats nice, I have a question, that mount being in the back of the kayak, how do you get back there without any issues?

The Flip camera records for two hours, so I start recording when I launch the kayak. I'll download that clip when I get home. You can't see it in the pic, but there is another mount up front. When I get several clips downloaded I'll use a movie editor to cut and piece everything together. It actually works quiet well. I know of some people who use video cameras that are controlled by a remote.
