Cajun Rods - Under new ownership? Still making new product?

Featured Replies

Anyone have any recent experience or interaction with Cajun Rods? I've read a comment or two online which seems to suggest the company is under new ownership and the founder, Jaesen Yerger, is no longer affiliated with the company, but I can find nothing official online to confirm this.  Nothing mentioned on the web site as far as I can tell.

I've emailed the company a couple of times and have never received a response.  I've also tried calling and no one ever answers the phones.

This was a great company at one time, with a great product.  I hope things haven't changed, but I'm getting the feeling they have...

I didn’t know they existed, but their stuff looks interesting. I hope they pull through and continue to make a good product.

Cajun used to make their own blanks, which were phenomenal, in their Florida facility.

I ordered a rod from them around Christmas time when they were running a 20% off sale and had no issue. Would order again with no hesitation.

And yes they have been sold, I believe twice now if I remember correct and are now based out of Ohio.

With Yerger gone, as well as the staff from the Florida manufacturing facility, I'm wondering who in Ohio has the expertise required to manufacture rod blanks?

As an actual Cajun, I hate it when people "steal" the name...

Cajuns are people descended from those kicked out of the Nova Scotia area of Canada by the British, not just anyone from Louisiana, and certainly not people of other ethnic backgrounds who just happen to live here.

It looks like the rods are made in another state anyhow.
