I see no maps available on that website. It's just a forum. First I've heard of them.

There are free Navionics maps here at BassResource but the service appears to be down right now

Navionics website is free for online use...I use it all the time and save maps using the Win-7 Snipping Tool.

I checked New Melones and it is using Navionics map. The site says they use maps from different services. I kinda like the way the Navionics site works better, one reason being that I don't have to click an icon to open the map.

I don't use these services though really so others may have more informative opinions. And my favorite lake isn't on either of them but it is on my fish finder.

I was mistaken. The maps are at https://usa.fishermap.org/

They're operating out of Belarus and just using the Navionics maps via links...wonder if they're paying Navionics for the privilege of linking

https://webrate.org/index.php/site/fishermap.org/

"Fishermap.org belongs to Republican Unitary Telecommunication Enterprise Beltelecom"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beltelecom

"Republican unitary enterprise Beltelecom is the national telecommunications company in Belarus, fully owned by the Government of Belarus"

https://scamalytics.com/ip/178.127.76.222

"IP address 178.127.76.222 is operated by whose web traffic we consider to present a potentially medium fraud risk. This IP address is owned by Republican Unitary Telecommunication Enterprise Beltelecom whose web traffic we also consider to present a potentially medium fraud risk."

I'd skip the overseas site and just use the Navionics site...

If you do use Fishermap - have a VPN up, and make sure your anti-virus/anti-malware software is current.
