Rogers Sporting Goods Lures, Soft Plastics?

Featured Replies

Anyone have anything to say about Rogers Sporting Goods brand lures? There seem to be few to no reviews online and I didn't find anything here in the search results.

Their 24-pack of "Torture" Creature baits seems like a great value, and they occasionally put their spinnerbaits on steep discount.

Their jigs appear to be a swim/flip hybrid and then an almost square-headed design for dragging on the bottom...but it's impossible to tell how they hold up or if their hooks are decent.

I shopped at the original Rogers Sporting Goods store for years in Liberty Mo. I believe Jim Rodgers was a well known MO fisherman and tackle maker years ago.           At that time, I bought a few Rodgers hard baits. Crankbaits and a good Spook lure, the Walkin Jim. I would say from my own experience the baits are good. That was years ago. They were not into soft plastics at that time.
