Favorite rods: help me choose

I'm trying to decide between two rods:

 

A favorite summit and a favorite hex.

 

Both MH/xFast.

 

The summit is toray 46-ton graphite, which sounds like it would be extremely sensitive.

 

For $50 more, the hex is 30,40, and 46T graphite.

 

Anyone know the reason for the $50 difference?

    Yeah, the "hex" thing seems kinda gimmicky...
