Is this a good rod for Carolina rigs?

The original Carolina rig uses a egg sinker, followed by a glass beam then a swivel tied to the main line. The C-rig ties a leader to the swivel with the hook. The leader length isn’t adjustable without tying a new leader or shorting it.

My question is why the 7’6” Heavy power rod?
