Hi, I'd like some suggestions for what reel size/weight would balance well with the St Croix Legend Glass spinning in the 7'2" version.

    I have that rod and love it. 

    Mine is matched with Stradic 4000, but JDM Stradic 3000 MHG is an equally great match and a great spool.  (Same goes for Twin Power)

    Thank you for the suggestion, would you mind giving me the weight, or exact model number for the particular reels you mention, so I could look it up. The reel I'm currently interested in ordering is from Australia, so I wanna make sure I do it right if I'm gonna order internationally. Thank you again.

    I just checked, wow, that is a much heavier pairing than I expected for balancing, weight wise.
