What are the highest quality 2 or 3 piece spinning rods that you guys know of? Price range doesn't matter. I am looking for a rod that I can keep in my truck for any time I want to wet a line. Thanks.

If I kept one rod in my truck for general use whenever the mood struck it'd be a medium like the Loomis Escape, not that I'd spend that kind of $ to leave it in the truck 24/7.

Yeah, the Loomis Escapes were disco'd. Only the Escape GLX series remains. I'd own a brace of them otherwise.

 

For what OP wants, I'd grab a Daiwa Ardito or TFO Traveler. I own 3 Arditos and just ordered a 2nd TFO Traveler this morning. Thrashed on my ML with no problem for 2 years now. Blanks are very durable.
