I like the switch for when I reel in too far and want to let out a little line without having to yank on the drag.   Now and then I like to back reel.  Different strokes.  I like to mention that some brands are dropping them so buyers will not be surprised. 

I'm glad that they are still available for folks that like them.  I also appreciate you informing people that certain models no longer have that feature!
