New Tube Style Bait - Hookup Baits

Featured Replies

I wanted to see if anyone has used these?

They are out of San Diego California and have been out for a couple years I believe, but seem to maybe still be west coast focused. They seem to catch all fish species.

It seems to me to be just like a standard tube, but without the skirt portion cut into strands. This gives is a faster glide/slide, etc.

I know it's marketing material, but it seems like tons of guys are catching fish per their instagram:

I have ZERO affiliation with the company, I'm just curious if guys have had luck with these lures and under what conditions, etc. I'm trying not to get sucked into the marketing hype, banjo minnow status...

Basstrix Flashtrix Minnow has been around over 25 years. We insert a 1/8 oz dart head or use it on drop or slip shot rigs, west coast standby.

I'm so glad I could count on you Tom!! I'm knew there had to be some similar stuff out there like these new baits, etc. Those Basstrix Flashtrix Minnow look like they would be pretty fun on a 1/8oz darthead!
