Hello all. I am looking for diving depths for the Arbogast Bug Eye and Rapala RFR-4. Both are described as “deep runners,” but bill design and angle (Bug Eye) and bill size (RFR) make me suspect that they are more mid to shallow runners. Thanks.

    The Rap will dive 4-5 feet, the Arbogast a bit over 6. Actual diving depth will vary with line diameter, cast length, retrieve speed, and tip location relative to water surface, so you could easily be around +/- 2 feet
