You can hear the sonar coming from my Simrad unit. Its extremely annoying.

 

Anyone ever have this happen?

 

I recorded it.  You can really hear it at :56 second mark.

 

That’s a new one.   If you turn off sonar pinging does the sound go away?   Has it always had this problem?

I havent tried that but it probably would.

 

I dont remember my old Garmin 720s making noise like this. Ive only ever owned two fish finders.

 

I want to say it didnt do this when I first got it. I had another issue I sent it to Simrad for, then when I got it back it was making this noise.
