Picked this up for when I am deep in the water and need to take a photo of a good catch.

    I had something similar, the clip was attached to the case the same way. I flipped my kayak wearing it around my neck. The lanyard was still around my neck but the clip detached and I lost my phone. You might want to look into replacing that plastic snap with a small twist lock carabiner
