Before I ask this dumb question I'll let you all know that you're free to dogpile here for my laziness.  I know that I can search and probably find the answer, but it's so much easier to just ask you all and get an answer delivered to my post.  Let the piling begin...

Question... What does the HB 998 have that the 997 (with the free upgraded software) does not have?

    Faster processor that will allow for quicker mapping functions and more future updates.

    An ethernet connection for more advanced comunication between like units.
