im looking for a rod that is super stiff im talking like fast action with hardly any bend if that makes sense.

to further describe im looking for a blank that if you mount horizontally fromm the butt section and load the tip with 16 ounces and the top 6-8 inch portion of the bends very little with little to no flex in the bottom 3/4 of the blank. I am not close to any shop that sells blanks and only able to order online. anyone can recomend any blank simular to what i described would be great.

i only plan to use 1/2-2oz with it

    A moderate action rod would have your stiff tip, a fast action rod would have a softer tip compared to the butt power. Check out Trasher rod blanks.

    Why guess? Thrasher has a flex profile for every blank they make. If they are good enough for Rich Forhan, they a good enough to consider.
