Remove a dual console

Featured Replies

I have a 97 Stratos 282, 18'9" with a dual console.  I would like to consider removing the passenger console.  Would this in any way comprise the integrity of the deck?  Has anyone done this and if so I would appreciate any pointers or advice.

Why do you want to remove the DC????

It provides wind break for any rider you may have, and a bit of added space to store gear out of the elements.

I would proceed with caution. It's hard to say without looking at the boat. I've done mods in the past and have learned it can get more complicated than you antisapated. You should also think about resale value if you would ever wanted to sell and up-grade. ;)
