Experience with a Lowrance X-96?

Anyone ever use one of these? I can get one off a guy for 40$.. just looking for some opinions on it..

It's a good buy for $40.

That's what came with my boat. I moved it from the console to the front, and I haven't had any reason to complain. $40 is a good price.
