should i be concerned that my whopper plopper runs on its side. basically one of its eyes is facing straight up out of the water while the other is facing down into the water? ive just started using it so dont know if this really affects it or if its supposed to run like that at times?

Ya, I experience the same thing with mine. I tried adding a suspend dot on the belly, didn't work. I tried single hooks on both ends, didn't work.

 

I guess it's just the nature of the beast, unless you reel sllooowwww, then it stays upright. Great idea, bad delivery.

This is caused by to fast of a retrieve. Slowing it down not only allows the bait to actually do its designed purpose but you also catch more fish. Hope this helps.
