whopper plopper 60 runs on its side.
should i be concerned that my whopper plopper runs on its side. basically one of its eyes is facing straight up out of the water while the other is facing down into the water? ive just started using it so dont know if this really affects it or if its supposed to run like that at times?

Yum Christie craw
Just got a pack of some yum Christie craws and was wondering if anyone has had success with these thrown on a weightless Texas rigged? Looking to throw them weightless to really finesse these fish but wasn’t sure if it was meant to be weightless. Any info help thanks!

3 inch Stiko
Yeah that’s what I was worried about which is why I thought maybe rigging them a different way.

3 inch Stiko
Hello everyone. I do most of my fishing in creeks and small ponds and got a glimpse of those bass pro 3 inch stikos and thought they’d be perfect for the small creeks. My question is has anyone ever used them and any thought on ways to rig them? I thought wacky rig with a really small hook like you would for a piece of night crawler but not really sure. Thoughts?

Rooster tails
Awesome catch! Thanks you all for the insight. Can’t wait to try it out.

Rooster tails
Hello everyone. I’ve never fished a rooster tail but have been wanting to as I hear they can generate multiple bites from different species and is also a good lure for trying out new spots. My question is do you have to add a swivel and a leader to tie on a rooster tail? Some people swear by this to avoid line twists but I’ve also heard some people say but they tie the rooster tail directly to the line. Thoughts?

Zoom finesse worm
For the smaller zoom finesse worm, is there a shakey head with a small hook? I’ve only seen shakey heads starting at 4/0 and have seen sites suggest for use on both the trick worm and the finesse worm but I wanted to see if anyone knew of a smaller hook size? Or will this be fine? Just want to make sure I get the best setup.

Rage craw
thanks everyone for the clarification. i just overthink it all and want to make sure ive got the right setups when out there.

Rage craw
This might be a dumb question but when Texas rigging a strike king rage craw, is the hook supposed to rest in the slit that’s on the bait or is that where I insert the hook and then it comes out the other side.?I’ve seen it rigged both ways and didn’t know if there was one right way to do this.

Traveling and fishing
Hello everyone! As summer approaches here in Texas I plan to do some traveling to enjoy the summer. This got me thinking and heading down an endless path and thought, ok if I can only bring three lures with me to search and catch whatever species, what would they be? With that said, wanted to see what peoples opinions are on this and what 3 lures would you bring with you if you were traveling to just make sure to catch numbers? I know all situations are different but this is just hey you’re traveling and see a body of water let’s give it a try with these three lures.

Rod question
Well I actually do have a mf spinning rod and couple of baitcaster for some heavier presentations but I like the feel of the mm spinning rod. Just have never used it for Texas rigging as I didn’t know if I would have trouble setting the hook.

Rod question
Hello everyone. I’m a bank fisherman and typically like to travel light. I like to stick to one rod that I can use for multiple presentations but one rod that I had a question on was a medium power moderate action spinning rod. I want to be able to present a weighted Texas rig and a wacky rig if needing to really finesse down. My question is with this type of rod, would I really have trouble setting the hook? Or would I be able to get by?
