In my opinion, the more knots you have (of any type), the more opportunity for knot failure. I'll stick with straight mono, retying when needed. But as always, to each his own.

Yeah.....Wegmans parking lots are much better (reference to an old post of mine).

I do fish a lake at a local Target. The bright red carts in the lake hold fish ?

I use 20lb suffix 832 hi viz yellow braid to 10lb flouro leader. Never had any knot failures as of yet. But I fish alot of super clear lakes for smallies and it seems to work for me.
