whats a better rod to fish a buzzbait with a fast action or slow action?

I fish a buzzbait on a 7ft 6in MH fast and works well for me.

I like a 6'6" Medium fast action rod, the light tip gives the fish time to take the bait and it has more than enough backbone to horse em in.

6' medium heavy with a short handle; I like to move in close & make medium length cast over some type of vegetation or run it into logs/stumps.
