2023 Steez A 2tw or 22 zillion hd tw for a dedicated chatterbait reel. 

I have both.    I’d go with the steez a2 for chatterbaits.    I tried both for that application and both reels I find perform very similar.     I just found the steez edges out the zillion hd just by a small margin.    Feels better in hand for how I fish chatterbaits.   
 

the zillion hd I find excels a lot better in heavy pitching, punching, frogs, swimbaits and the like.   
 

I will add that with the steez a2.   I wasn’t fond of it when i first got it.   It seemed very sub par and I would of been better off getting another zillion hd or zillion sv instead.   But I found the more I used the steez a2 the better it became.   Maybe it was my reel or maybe not but it really opened up more and more each time I used it and now I find it’s a blast to use as an all around reel.     Having said that I probably wouldn’t get another one because I find the ‘21 zillion sv not too far off.
