First thoughts - works best on a casting combo, line twist on a spinning reel causes problems. Do not use a duo lock. Do not use a split ring. This bait doesn't need any of that. Slow pull, let it flutter back. A quick snap is fine too but you lose contact for longer. The downward flutter on this is really amazing.

Also having proper drag settings is gonna matter, the line tie is only mounted into the plastic of the bait. There is no further reinforcement of the line tie so set your drag appropriately. Still no bites but today is the first nice day in probably two weeks, so I'm about to go meet the sun at the pier.

Fished one yesterday. No bites but i also didnt get bites on anything else either

I tried it out at lake fork yesterday and it just falls too quick to keep it off the timber. I bent the hooks out of two before I gave up
