Could a pedal drive be mounted on this vessel? Anyone done it? If so, What about steering?   

They make em with trolling motors.

I bought a Jonny when they first came out but ended up preferring a regular kayak and traded it for a Dorado.  The Jonny's use the same 8-ball steering and Beavertail rudder system that's on other FeelFree kayaks, like the Dorado.  However, I'm not sure about adding a pedal drive since the Jonny's were designed to be motorized.
