Bass fishing near Cape Canaveral

Featured Replies

Looking for something a little closer than Headwaters or Toho.  Won't have a boat but willing to hire a guide or rent.

Lakes along the St John's River seems to be the closest option.  Sure I'm missing a bunch as I've not been there, yet.  Only played around on Google Earth.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Lake Poinsett would probably be the closest for you. Also lake Winder before heading north to Lake George. I have fished the river just south of Lake George & done well including a DD. Unfortunately the guide I would suggest has retired because of a sight issue. Google Lake Poinsett for fishing guides & try from there.

this.and yes the lake is good. water is up a little, but not bad, you could run south into Winder and fish Middle river along the way.
