Helix 7 + Helix 10… Can I run both to one dedicated Dakota Lithium 12v 10A?

Featured Replies

Looking to run a Helix 7 and Helix 10 both side imaging to the same battery. Will the Dakota lithium 12v 10a work? Or should i step up to the next size? Sorry, I’m new to the forum and fish finders. Cant get ahold of hummingbird for some reason. But will this battery run both fish finders all day? If anyone has advice thanks. Added a pic of the battery

you can, but not for long. You’re drawing 0.8 and 2 amps respectively. So you’ll get about 3 hours from that battery. I’d be looking at a 30 ah minimum for a solid day of both.

My 10a lithium will barely run a helix 7 all day if mapping is on. I agree with @casts_by_fly - 30ah.
